First grade is a fun and exciting adventure where your child will continue their growth in reading, writing, and so much more.  As teaching partners in your child's education I look forward to working with you.

Read... Read...Read...  Please read with and to your child each day.  Have them share a book with you!  Discuss the story!  Reading is the SINGLE most important thing your child can do to build reading skills like comprehension and fluency. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Raz-Kids
Raz Kids is an online library of fantastic books.  Your readers are improving each time they log in by listening to a story, which increases fluency.  The readers are then able to read the book on their own and take an interactive quiz.  Please make sure your child is logging in to reading!!!

Please cut out and send in Box Tops to help our class!
